Harrison
Harrison is a small, friendly
young male Westie who was turned in to the local Humane Society in Harrisburg,
PA as a stray. They called WRI to take him as he was suffering from a severe
case of malassezia and mange. He was under weight and missing several teeth.
Harrison was in pretty bad shape. But, Harrison was up for adventure and ready
to be loved. Treatment was started for both skin infections and he began to get
his fur back. He and his foster sisters enjoyed long walks, chasing each other
and playing with the cat. Harrison is especially fond of cuddles and belly
rubs with his foster Mom. Early on, he displayed his “mountain goat” techniques
by climbing on the table to get the toy he wanted to practice his “terrier
terminator”skills. Two months after coming into our program, Harrison went to a
2nd foster family. Within two days, they decided to adopt him. He
now has a family of his own, other dogs to play with and several acres to patrol
for pesky critters.
