Indy

Indy came to Westie Rescue, Inc. in July, as a stud male from a puppy-mill.  When he arrived he was a very sweet-natured boy who was already crate-trained,  but needed to be house-broken and learn how to play - both with toys and other dogs.  During the usual physical exam that we have all the incoming Westies go through, it was discovered that Indy suffered from Lyme's Disease.  Indy was neutered and had his teeth cleaned and was treated for the Lyme's Disease before he was placed in his forever home in Charlottesville, VA.  You see, the minute his potential Mom and Dad met Indy, they fell in love with his laid-back and friendly personality.  Today Indy still suffers from the after-effects of not being treated immediately for Lyme's disease, but not enough to keep him from his twice daily walks, the never-ending supply of noise-making toys which he just can't bear to put down, and continuing to be part of the Westie Welcoming Committee for new Westie fosters that arrive in his neighborhood.  In addition, Westies Mom and Dad have found that Indy loves to howl when his Mom and Dad "sing" for him!
