OUR MISSION

Westie Rescue, Inc., is an all-volunteer, federally recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives and welfare of homeless West Highland White Terriers (Westies).

Westie Rescue facilitates the rescue and adoption of stray, abandoned, neglected, abused, and surrendered Westies or Westie-mixes displaying the physical and behavioral attributes of a pure-bred Westie.

OUR GOALS

Westie Rescue serves Westies in need in Maryland, Virginia, Washington, D.C., Delaware, and parts of West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York.

Ultimately, the availability of financial and volunteer resources determines how many Westies we can rescue and from where. Our goal is to provide quality care and assistance to as many homeless Westies as possible.

Qualified adoptive families are selected through an application process focused on the welfare of the Westie and the need to place each dog in an appropriate environment given the individual dog's background, temperament, and needs.

Our primary goal is to place our Westies in safe, loving, lifelong homes.

DONATIONS

Donations to Westie Rescue are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law.
